Physiosexology
.
Physiosexology helps address difficulties that arise during sexual intercourse.
.
Sex hurts. Or you no longer enjoy it. Or it has simply disappeared from your life. And it is not your fault.
.
Physiosexology is the discipline that brings together physiotherapy and sexology to address sexual difficulties from every angle: the body, the mind, emotions and personal history.
Susana is both a physiotherapist and a sexologist. That combination is no coincidence. It is what allows her to understand that pain during intercourse is not “normal”, that a lack of desire has specific causes, and that there are real solutions for both.
There is no judgement here. There is work, understanding and support.

Physiotherapy Applied to Sexual Health
.
When the body is in pain, sexuality suffers too. We address the physical causes of:
- Pain during sexual intercourse (dyspareunia)
- Vaginal dryness
- Vaginismus — an involuntary muscle contraction that prevents penetration
- Anorgasmia — difficulty or inability to achieve orgasm
- Vulvar atrophy
- Vulvodynia — chronic vulvar and perineal pain, often experienced as burning, irritation or hypersensitivity
